Tres Crowder

Tres Crowder

Fourteen novels since the age of fifteen.

I write epic fantasy from the Rocky Mountains, where I grew up and still live. The habit started the night my dad put on his VHS copy of The Fellowship of the Ring, and it has not let go since.

I have been finishing novels since I was fifteen. Twelve years and fourteen manuscripts later, I am still most at home in the long form: invented histories, cities with their own logic, and a story that needs a hundred thousand words to say what it means. I write mostly epic fantasy, though I like stepping into contemporary fantasy when a story wants to be set closer to home.

Three of those novels are below, each with the opening pages attached.
